I’ve been wanting to start a comic strip of my own for a while now, and since I’m just starting to learn how to use photoshop, I figure, why not now? I’m on holidays before I start my year’s diploma at Vancouver Film School (I’m one of four recipients of the 2013 Women in Games Scholarship). I am, however, by no means great at drawing.
This particular work is inspired by my boyfriend, as will the one to follow in the coming days.
Which would you rather?
I’m a foodie, and I will soon deliver on the promised foodposts, however I’d also like to share my recently completed music video for a song I wrote when I was 14 (I’m 20 now). The MV was filmed when I was 17, but I hadn’t learnt editing until now (and university got in the way time-wise).
There’s a few mistakes here and there, but the song means a lot to me and I had a buttload of fun putting the video together, so I hope you enjoy the end product (fruits of my effort. See! I’m still able to inject food into this post!)
Also… if you check my youtube channel, I’ve written songs about food. Namely “You’re my pie” and “Icecream < You”. Hehehehehe.
Durians. Stinky fruit. One time I saw an episode of Fear Factor where he contestants had to choose between eating insects and durian. They chose the insects.
My relatives have a durian tree in the backyard. They got really ripe, so we had to open and eat them before the ants got through the cracks. Continue reading
